The Calema Midwinters tradition continues for the 26th year! After a year hiatus in 2011 – the Midwinters will return for the “reunion” atmosphere once again – bringing together windsurfers from around the globe.
We invite ALL levels of sailors from Pro to Novice – Kona & RSX to Formula and Techno. Whether you are 8 or 80, come and enjoy this “Reunion” of sailors from around the globe.

As in past years – we will offer A Fleet Racing for THREE days – March 2,3 & 4
Sport Fleet Racing will be two days only – Saturday and Sunday – March 3 & 4 – but all Sport Fleet participants are welcome to come early, meet the Pros and get some practice in at Kelly Park. Of course, join us for all the welcome party events as well.

8.2 Age Divisions
8.2.1 An under 17 Youth (Techno) shall be born in or after 1996 and not later than 2000; an under 15 Junior (Techno) shall be born in or after 1998 and not later than 2001.
8.2.2 A Youth (RSX) shall be under the age of 19, born in or after 1994 and not later than 1997
8.2.3 A Youth (Formula) shall be under the age of 20, born in or after 1993 and no later than 1997.
8.2.4 A Techno Open (A17) sailor shall be 17 years or older in the year of competition, born 1995 or earlier.
8.2.5 A Master is a man who has reached the age of 35 and born 1976 or earlier, or a woman who has reached the age of 30 and born 1980 or earlier.
8.2.6 A Grandmaster is a man who has reached the age of 45 and born 1966 or earlier, or a woman who has reached the age of 40 and born 1970 or earlier.
8.2.7 A Senior is a man who has reached the age of 55 and born 1956 or earlier, or a woman who has reached the age of 50 and born 1960 or earlier.
