USA Junior Olympic Windsurfing
The USA Junior Olympic Windsurfing Festival is for kids of all ages. Water activities include a FREE learn to Windsurf Clinic and Racing for Olympic Medals! Free Build a Mini Boat activity on land, too!
$0.00 — $20.00
The USA Junior Olympic Windsurfing Festival is part of a national tour of sailing events to promote Sailing and Windsurfing as Olympic Sports. Calema’s event, now in it’s 12th year, allows children (ages 8-17) to get a “taste” of windsurfing through our FREE learn to windsurf clinic – taught on Saturday morning. For those children that are already windsurfing (even if they just started this summer) – we have racing fleets where the children compete for Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.
On shore – we also offer a FREE Build a Mini Boat event – where children of all ages can build a miniature sailboat and race it down a special course propelled only by the wind.
It is a great day for the whole family to come out and enjoy the beautiful weather, splash around and get wet and watch the colorful sails as they “Go for the Gold”.
