Warmer Weekend
The weather forecast is beginning to look promising. 2 days ago, looked light for the weekend, but that is now changing. According to one of my more trusted computer models, good wind Friday, and Saturday, may be Sunday as well. But by the way the model is changing, Sunday could turn windy, as a low pressure well to our west may be increasing the wind gradient.
For one, The High pressure that before looked pretty weak, is now showing as a stronger high, and further away from Florida, into the North Carolinas, which is the best possible scnario.
we will keep praying, but for one, it will bea warmer weekend. Today it was 15-20 knots and got quite cold. Tomorrow, Wednesday will be chilly with increasing winds, in the 18- 20 knot range.
Quite a few pros here already practicing.
Patrice Belbeoch of France is here, and shoing his brand new Honey comb Exocetsn – I tried the 78– really nice board
Maui Sails is also showing a tour the force with many racers using the sails.
For me this is like Christmas, all the new toys arrive at once, and you get to see the worlds best using them.
The Space Coast is once again delivering the good weather, and the Banana River is such a great place for any level windsurfer to sail. Too bad the Space Shuttle has been delayed, it would have been nice to watch another Launch. Stay tuned for updates.
